About the Artist

Hey There!

My name is Elias, or Eli for short. My pronouns are He/They and I am a mixed indigenous multi-disciplinary artist from Lipan Apache and Kapampangan roots. I am a neo-traditional rotary machine tattooer currently working out of No Good Tattoo in East Austin, Texas.

I first started my journey in 2015, I received my A.A.S. in Communication Design from San Antonio College where I focused on graphic design principles including: logo design, branding, web design, and marketing. After college I was unsure of my path, but I had always dreamed of pursuing my passion in fine arts and interest in tattooing. In 2016, I started a formal apprenticeship at Death Before Dishonor in San Jose, CA under Paco Excel. Since then, I have been pursuing my career in the Tattoo Industry and have found my way back to my home state of Texas. I have learned so much from other artists in the industry since starting my tattoo journey, so I consider myself a community taught tattooer. I have been very fortunate to share my art with the local community and beyond.

As a proud Queer & trans individual in the rapidly changing tattoo industry I’m focused on building a practice that centers a collaborative experience artistically and promotes a safe space for BIPOC (Black and Indigenous people of color) and LGBTQ+ folks, SWers, and disabled folks.

It takes a courageous amount of trust to choose someone to mark your body, especially for Queer & Trans BIPOC folks, I’m here to help you through that experience with safety and comfort.
